  1. Water quality goals

    Define target pollutants and the project’s approved treatment objectives.

  2. Catchment and loading

    Provide catchment area, design flow and required treatment area.

  3. Media and planting

    Confirm the approved media profile, depths and planting arrangement.

  4. Levels and overflow

    Coordinate inlet, underdrain, overflow and available hydraulic head.

  5. Site integration

    Confirm the landscape footprint, adjacent structures and pretreatment.

  6. Maintenance plan

    Define establishment, inspection and media/vegetation maintenance requirements.

Suggested specification wording

Complete the bracketed project details and confirm the selected model with Protector.

Supply a Protector BioProtector biofiltration system configured for catchment [CATCHMENT] and design flow [FLOW] L/s. Provide treatment area [AREA] m², media profile [MEDIA / DEPTHS] and planting as confirmed in the approved design. Coordinate pretreatment, underdrain and overflow levels with the civil and landscape drawings. Provide establishment and ongoing maintenance requirements.

Final dimensions, capacities and installation details are established in the approved project drawings and current manufacturer documentation.
