StormBrake creates a modular underground storage arrangement. The chamber layout, stone envelope and liner or geotextile design are selected to suit detention, retention or infiltration duty and the site’s ground conditions.

How to specify
StormBrake.

Start with the project requirements.
We’ll help you confirm the right configuration.

  1. Storage duty

    Confirm detention, retention or infiltration and the required effective storage volume.

  2. Ground investigation

    Provide soil infiltration data, groundwater levels and geotechnical requirements.

  3. Layout and levels

    Nominate chamber rows, footprint, inlet level and operating water levels.

  4. Hydraulic controls

    Confirm permitted discharge rate, outlet control and overflow design.

  5. Structural envelope

    Specify traffic loading, cover depth, stone envelope and liner/geotextile arrangement.

  6. Pretreatment and access

    Coordinate upstream treatment, inspection ports and the maintenance plan.

Supply a Protector StormBrake modular underground chamber system providing [VOLUME] m³ effective storage for [DETENTION / RETENTION / INFILTRATION]. Provide the chamber layout, stone envelope and [LINER / GEOTEXTILE] arrangement detailed in the approved civil and geotechnical design. Coordinate inlet, outlet control, overflow, cover loading, pretreatment and inspection access. Install in accordance with current manufacturer instructions.
