HYDROPROTECTOR - ROYAL PRINCE ALFRED HOSPITAL
Protector Australia recently completed the construction and supply of an advanced EnviroSave system, with a filtration flow rate of 24 L/s, and a 260m³ StormBrake On-Site Detention (OSD) system for Northwest Primary School in Pakenham. Commissioned by North Melbourne Plumbing, this project addresses essential stormwater management needs and ensures compliance with Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) standards.
The StormBrake OSD system is engineered for effective stormwater detention, reducing peak flow rates and alleviating strain on local drainage infrastructure. Meanwhile, the EnviroSave filtration system captures and treats stormwater runoff, efficiently removing pollutants to enhance water quality before re-entering the environment.
Together, these systems form a cohesive treatment train that provides Northwest Primary School with a resilient and environmentally responsible stormwater solution. By minimizing runoff impact and ensuring cleaner water discharge, the project helps the school meet regulatory standards and positively contribute to the surrounding ecosystem. Protector Australia is proud to support sustainable infrastructure in educational settings, paving the way for a future where water-sensitive design is integral to community development.
