Protector Australia has produced and supplied a 2500mm diameter, 22.5-meter-long emergency sewer storage tank made from Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) as part of a critical upgrade to a sewer pump station in Strathalbyn, South Australia. This tank was specifically designed to address Strathalbyn’s growing need for increased sewer storage capacity, ensuring safe and reliable overflow management during peak flows as the local population continues to rise.

The choice of FRP offers outstanding durability, lightweight construction, and high resistance to corrosion, making it ideal for long-term use in essential infrastructure. This upgrade reflects Protector Australia’s commitment to quality and reliability, tailored to meet Strathalbyn’s unique requirements.

In partnership with the local pump supply group and our customer, Global Water, we oversaw the transport, installation, and seamless integration of the tank into the existing system, minimizing impact on the community. This collaboration highlights Protector Australia’s dedication to providing innovative, custom solutions that address the immediate and future needs of expanding communities, while maintaining the highest standards of environmental safety and infrastructure resilience.
